What: Every year, Baton Rouge Parents Magazine hosts The Cover Kid Event to find fresh faces to appear on the cover and within the pages of the magazine for the upcoming 12 months.

The Cover Kid Event has been an exciting event to look forward to for over 20 years. The Cover Kid Event is not a beauty contest or a talent show. Children from all walks of life are encouraged to participate. Cover Kids are between the ages of 2 and 17 years, who are good role models for children. We believe that children who shine come in all shapes, sizes, ethnicities, and abilities.
