Faces & Places Write-Up Options
1) Submit your own write-up of up to ~300 words by emailing a pdf or word document to our Managing Editor at amanda@familyresourcegroupinc.com.
OR
2) Fill out a questionnaire and answer several questions for a more guided content submission process.
Please Note:
- Faces and Places write-up requirements differ. Whether you’re submitting your own write-up or completing the questionnaire, be sure your content focuses on your company as a whole if you are being featured as a Place, or on your personal or team story if being featured as a Face.
- Places are encouraged to include how many years your company has been in business and the names of key personnel to be showcased in a subtitle on your profile.
- Our editorial team reserves the right to edit or reject submitted content at its discretion.

Faces Photo Options
1) Submit your own photo by emailing a png or jpeg file to our Production Coordinator at makaylee@frg.inc. All self-submitted photos must have a DPI of 300 or higher or a file size of 1mb or larger. Please also include a photographer name for photo credit in your email, if applicable.
OR
2) Schedule a photoshoot with our 2025 Face of Photography. All photoshoots last no longer than 30 minutes and will result in 5-20 unedited images for you to choose from. Your one image selection will be edited for the publication and all other unedited images will be shared with you and available for download once the publication goes to press.
Please note: The last date to schedule your photoshoot for is July 8th.
Please Note:
- Only one image per feature is permitted.
- Faces and Places image requirements differ.
- Faces images must clearly feature the individual or team representing the face(s) of your industry as the focal point. Subjects may be posed directly facing the camera or shown naturally engaging in their work or environment, but in either case, they must remain the clear visual focus of the image.

- If you are a Face planning to include a team in your image, please note that no more than seven people may be featured. Additionally, if multiple individuals appear in your photo, your write-up may be shortened to accommodate space constraints.
- The photo that is used in print will not be made available for download. For all other photography, you will receive all the rights to the quality photos our photographer will capture.
- Once your photoshoot is complete, please allow five business days to receive an email invitation with access to your unedited image gallery, along with instructions for selecting the one image you would like featured in your profile.
- If an additional photo shoot is needed, there is a $500 charge to reschedule.
Prepare For Your Photoshoot:
- If you need a photoshoot scheduled, have 1-2 places at the same location for your shoot prepared. Is there somewhere with your logo or signage? Is there a particular room or space that showcases what your business does? Outdoor photos can be great, but plan for inside as well; good weather is never guaranteed.
- Be Ready: If it's a team photo, communicate with your team to be present and available. Have everyone together and ready—your time is valuable and we don't want to waste it tracking down people.
- Please arrive 5-10 minutes prior to the photoshoot.
- Arrive photo ready.

The Approval Process...
- A proof of your profile will be shared by our Client Success Team to ensure you love it and to give you the opportunity to request revisions.
- You may submit up to two rounds of revisions.
- No further changes can be made once final approval is given.
